Sunday, January 31, 2010 - This afternoon, RVFD was alerted to assist units already operating on a working house fire on Drapers Mill Road in the 7-2 box. Eng.405 (6 w/Chief Utz) and Tanker-406 (2 ) hit the street in two minutes. Eng.401 and Chief-4, at the time of dispatch, were operating on a CO alarm in the 4-4 box. While en route, Eng.401 (6 w/DC Winchester) and Chief-4 (Capt.Baker), were added to the call. When Eng.405 arrived, the crew was immediately assigned to interior fire attack operations. Tanker-406 was placed into water supply ops. Eng.401 arrived and was placed into staging. Crews did an excellent job, and cleared the scene within an hour.
