Wed, Mar 13, 2013

At 1441 hours, RVFD along with DES PM-13 and Sta.600 (Greensboro) for an engine, were alerted for an MVC with reported entrapment in front of 12820 Hog Lot Road.  Chief-4 (Utz) arrived on location advising of a single vehicle MVC, on its side, with one patient trapped.  Chief-4 established Hog Lot Rd command.  Eng.405 (5 w/Chief Winchester) arrived and was assigned as the rescue group.  DES PM-13 arrived and began initial assessment of the patient, who meant the criteria of a Category "C" patient.  Aviation was requested by command, making the landing site at Ridgely Airpark.  Eng.401 (3 w/Lt. Stiles) was assigned to establish the landing site.  Eng.604 arrived on scene and was assigned to assist the rescue operation.  Patient was extricated, and transported to Shock Trauma via Trooper-1.  MSP handled the accident investigation.
