At 1441 hours, RVFD along with DES PM-13 and Sta.600 (Greensboro) for an engine, were alerted for an MVC with reported entrapment in front of 12820 Hog Lot Road. Chief-4 (Utz) arrived on location advising of a single vehicle MVC, on its side, with one patient trapped. Chief-4 established Hog Lot Rd command. Eng.405 (5 w/Chief Winchester) arrived and was assigned as the rescue group. DES PM-13 arrived and began initial assessment of the patient, who meant the criteria of a Category "C" patient. Aviation was requested by command, making the landing site at Ridgely Airpark. Eng.401 (3 w/Lt. Stiles) was assigned to establish the landing site. Eng.604 arrived on scene and was assigned to assist the rescue operation. Patient was extricated, and transported to Shock Trauma via Trooper-1. MSP handled the accident investigation.
