On 1/26/12 at 1538hrs Station 400 was alerted for the Dwelling Fire in Queen Anne’s County, Box 4-10 at 108 Chriss Drive just over the County Line.
Engine 401 hit the street with a Full Crew of 6 with Officers 420 (Capt Jarboe) and 421 (Lt Gott) on Board. Prior to responding a report of a working fire in an attached garage was transmitted. As Engine 401 was responding it was apparent that we were going to be the 1st arriving fire apparatus.
Upon arriving at Lauren’s Way and Chriss Dr the operator put the supply line in the street dropping 500 foot of 4’ LDH to the Fire Ground. Upon arrival dark smoke was coming from the front door. 420 (Capt Jarboe) was assigned Fire Attack and they went to work. Two lines were pulled and PPV set up at the Front door. Other units arrived and the Fire was contained to the garage with Heavy Smoke damage though out the dwelling.
Tanker 406 also responded and was assigned to the water supply operations.
All lines were racked and crews returned.
